Whilst not certified to do so, Graphics Base
will run on a Windows 7 / 32 bit environment.
However, the
removal of NTVDM from 64 bit Windows Operating Systems means that third party virtualisation is the only possible way to run Graphics Base natively on a 64bit Windows environment.
- If you are trying to run Graphics Base on a 64bit machine, you can do so by installing a Virtual Machine such as Virtual Box, Virtual PC or VMWare and then installing a 32bit Operating system version of Windows XP or Windows 7 within. Then you can install Graphics Base within this Virtual Machine.
- The other option would be to arrange for your PC to be downgraded to a 32bit Operating system so that Graphics Base can be installed directly there.
