Resolution
There are six fields in the Forecasting Accuracy Report.

Below is the information about the fields:
  • Expected Demand - Dollar value of expected sales based on the demand forecast
  • Actual Demand - Dollar value of actual sales for the previous period
  • % of Expected - Ratio between actual and expected demand
  • Non-Seasonal Items - Active SKUs without profiles
  • Seasonal Items - Active SKUs with seasonal profiles
  • Restricted Items - SKUs with buyer class M (manual) or D (discontinued) and SKUs with shelf life field populated at the SKU level

The % of Expected field shows the ratio between the expected sales and the actual sales. Ideally, this number should be 100, and the normal range is from 90 to 110. If the ratio of expected to actual sales is greater than 110, the forecasting should be examined in more detail.
This report should be used to display how well you are managing your forecasting. Some factors which can affect this report are:
Whether history exceptions are being reviewed and updated
Whether seasonal SKUs are being identified
