Resolution | - History from one SKU (the superseded SKU) is copied or transferred to another SKU (the replacement SKU).
- If history exists on both SKUs, the system adds the history together and displays it on the replacement SKU
- If a profile exists on the superseded SKU, it is copied to the replacement SKU (if the replacement SKU does not already have one)
- The stock status from the superseded SKU displays as the Auxiliary Balance on, and is added to the replacement SKU until it is depleted
- Any On Order and On Hand Balances from the Supersede From SKU are added to the Replacement SKU
- "Replacement SKU" and "Superseded SKU" appear on the Demand Forecasting tab for the SKUs that have supersede relationships. Unless the buyer class is D, the system changes the buyer class for the superseded SKU to M
- Once a supersede is created, E3 no longer accumulates stock status records for the old linked item
