-The index in the Lead Time Profile is the actual Lead Time that should replace the Lead Time Forecast for the Item or the Vendor. This is not a multiplier as with the Season Profiles. -If there is no impact on the Lead Time profile that means that the value from the Lead Time Profile is only used if it's greater than the Lead Time Forecast -Lead Time Profiles cannot be interfaced and are created manually.
-Creating a Lead Time Profile: LT Profile must exist in order to be applied to the Vendor or item level. Creating a LT Profile To Do Utilities Profile From the New profile window Enter fields: Profile ID Profile Type must be L-Lead Time Periodicity Description OK The Profile properties will display. On this screen, you have the option to display periods by 13-4weekly or 52 weekly You may enter the new/change LT indices by clicking on the cell to enter value. Click save. Close out of the LT Profile Property You should be able to see the LT Profile from your profile List Close out of the profile List and go back to To Do menu. You may select a Vendor or an item to apply the LT profile
- Applying Lead Time Profile at Vendor level You may enter the profile ID or click on the Lead Time profile button to select LT profile Click OK to accept selection then Save
- Applying Lead Time Profile at item Level You may go to Show Me item or select an item from an order Go to item’s Stock Status tab Once again you may enter the LT Profile to the LT profile field or click on the LT Profile to select profile ID -Because there have been changes to Vendor components, make sure to Recalc the order if the order has to be processed that day. If order is not going to be processed that day, the Daily job will recalc the order |
