Resolution
9.1.4 consolidated WM/WLM environment has following options for accessing the WM and WLM solutions:
  • MCS Client 
  • REFS/RPWEB Portal
  • WAFFLE Web Client
This is a temporary transition model that will be migrated into the REFS/RPWEB Portal. 

MCS Client-
  • Access via an icon on the desktop
  • Older MCS infrastructure, screens and controls used
  • installation of WM and LM components required
  • WM and WLM menu structures available. 
REFs/RPWEB Portal (WMS Portal)
  • Access via web browser
  • Newer functionality built out for the WMS
  • Screens and architecture are not MCS based
  • WMS and WLM solutions are migrating to the WMS portal but are not available in this version
WAFFLE Web Browser Client 
  • Access via web browser
  • For the WLM Product only
  • WAFFLE is base component and will continue to be require until fully migrated to to REFS/RPWEB Portal 
Two WLM elements are available in the REFS/RPWEB Portal
  • Work Status Display
  • Outbound Planner and Picking Dashboard under Labor tab

  • In release 2017.1 (April  2017), the first phase of WLM functionality migration was completed
  • Until the migration of all functionality is complete, the WLM solution will still be dependent on the WAFFLE Web client
