Resolution
In Warehouse Management a workflow is a system-directed operation to check the quality on inventory, product, trailers or vehicles at a pre-defined breakpoint or exit point (workflow exit point) in the warehouse process. These activities are known as workflows. You can use the application to automate this extra handling so that operators are prompted to perform the activity and based on the results of the activity, the application automatically takes the appropriate actions.

The application captures the following information:
  • Information from operators performing workflows so that you can view that information later.
  • Activity information about workflows performed logs it in the daily transaction log and sends the information to Warehouse Labor Management (only if the two applications are integrated).
  • Transport equipment activity log information whenever a workflow is completed for transport equipment.
