Resolution

1.Login to the Enterprise
2.Navigate to Business Unit Setup and select the business unit the employee belongs to
3.Using Related links, navigate to Workforce Setup
4.Under the Time and Attendance tab, set the "Unpaired Punch Threshold Hours" value to be greater than the longest expected shift length.

Cause

This error may occur when the business unit's workforce setup has a value for 'Unpaired Punch Threshold Hours' less than the length of time between the employee's in-punch and out-punch.
