SummaryDuring the creation of reports in JDA Reporting Open Access does not see that the connection is in use and will time out based upon the settings configured in Open Access for auto logout.

Resolution
You can extend Open Access session timeout value as a workaround.

1.  Log in to Open Access Web Server.
2.  Launch Open Access Configuration Editor.
3.  Go to Advanced tab and select Session timeout in the Key drop-down field.
4.  Change the Value field to between 1 and 35791394 minutes to accommodate your need.  The default is 60 minutes.

5.  Click Save to save changes.
6.  Click Close to exit Open Access Configuration Editor.

Cause
Additional Information
  • Open Access and JDA Reporting are two separate systems that have been configured to enable Open Access users access to JDA Reporting reports.
  • Since the to systems are on separate server, the timeout factors on each server are independent of each other.
