Resolution
  1. Open a Planogram project to package for distribution
  2. Open related tables, charts, fixture libraries, or product libraries to include in the package
  3. If changes are made to any of these files, save the changes
  4. Navigate to File Package:
    1. For Space Planning 2016.1 and below, select File > Package
    2. For Space Planning 2017.1 and above, select Space Planning Home button on the top left > Share > Package
  5. Select required check boxes from the following to specify the files to include in the package:
    1. Active Project
    2. Bitmap Images
    3. Shape Files
    4. 3D Model Files
    5. Layouts and Labels
    6. Analysis Files
    7. Fixture Libraries
    8. Product Libraries
    9. Settings Files
  6. Click Get Files to add each of the selected file types to the package
    1. A list of the included files is displayed in the Files to be Zipped list. If warning conditions are found, the Warnings list is displayed to indicate the issues
  7. Click Add to specify additional files, such as non-Space Planning files, to be included in the package. The Open dialog box is displayed
  8. Select a file and click OK to add the file to the package
    1. Files added in this manner are displayed in the User Files list
  9. Select an option from the Package Lists drop-down to review the Files to be Zipped, Warnings and User Files
  10. Select a file from the available lists, then click Remove to remove the file from the package
    1. You can press Ctrl or Shift to select multiple files to be removed. You can also click Clear Files to remove all files
  11. Click Save to save the package to a zip file. The Save Package Zip File dialog box is displayed
  12. Navigate to the location where you want to save the zip file
  13. Give the file name for the zip file
  14. Click OK
    1. The zip file is saved, containing the selected files and files listing the files in the package and warnings associated with the package
  15. Click Send to send the saved package file as an attachment to an email, as needed
  16. Click Close to close the dialog box after the package is saved

  • Files related to the active project (including the project, open tables and charts, images, labels, printing layouts, and open libraries and their databases) can be packaged and shared with other users
  • Non Space Planning files that typically accompany the project can also be added to the package
  • Steps 7, 8, 10 and 15 mentioned in the resolution steps are optional and can be ignored if not required
