Execute the commands on the EKBF process server:

pkbfversion /
cimversion /

 

  • EKBS (7.7.2-7.9.x)

From sqlplus, connect to the EKBS schema and run the following command:

select * from JDARELEE;

 

  • EKB (8.0-)

Execute the following from the EKB batch role server:

ekbversion /

 

  • EP Mid-Tier

  1. Find the directory in File Explorer where the Mid-Tier is installed (typically C:\Program Files\JDA\EPMidTier\bin)

  2. Add the column "File Version" if not already enabled.

  3. Read the file version of files that begin JDA.BI.Infrastructure.ApplicationServer.*

  4. JDA Support can determine your patch version from the file version

 

  • EKB Data Source

The version should be listed in pkbds.log. Otherwise follow the steps below to look at the file version.

  1. Find the directory in File Explorer where the Mid-Tier is installed (typically C:\Program Files\JDA\EPMidTier\bin)

  2. Add the column "File Version" if not already enabled.

  3. Read the file version of file pkbds.dll

  4. JDA Support can determine your patch version from the file version

 

  • EP Mid-Tier Administration Tool

The version of EPMTA is located in the Help dropdown, then click the item About JDA Mid-Tier Administrator tool. If you cannot start EPMTA, you can get see the file version directly.

  1. Find the directory in File Explorer where the Mid-Tier Administrator is installed (typically C:\Program Files\JDA\EPMidTierAdmin\bin)

  2. Add the column "File Version" if not already enabled.

  3. Read the file version of JDA.JADEAdmin.Client.Console.exe

  4. JDA Support can determine your patch version from the file version

 

  • EP Server Administrator Workbench

The product and build version of Workbench can be found by clicking the Workbench button in the upper left corner, and then clicking About Workbench... button. If you cannot start Workbench, you can read the file version directly.

  1. Find the directory in File Explorer where the EP Server Administrator Workbench is installed (typically C:\Program Files\JDA\EP Server Administrator Workbench)

  2. Add the column "File Version" if not already enabled.

  3. Read the file version of EPSAW.exe

  4. JDA Support can determine your patch version from the file version

 

  • EKBCS

  1. Find the directory in File Explorer where the EKB Configuratino Server is installed (typically C:\Program Files\JDA\JDA.EKB.Configuration.Service\bin)

  2. Add the column "File Version" if not already enabled.

  3. Read the file version of JDA.EKBCS.Settings.Local.dll

  4. JDA Support can determine your patch version from the file version

 

  • EP Client

Click the EP button in the upper left corner, then click the About Planning... button. This will list the version and file build. If you are unable to start EP, you can read the file version directly.

  1. Find the directory in File Explorer where PLANNING.EXE is installed (typically C:\Program Files\JDA\Enterprise Planning or C:\Program Files (x86)\JDA\Enterprise Planning)

  2. Add the column "File Version" if not already enabled.

  3. Read the file version for PLANNING.EXE

  4. JDA Support can determine your patch version from the file version

  • Decam (7.7.2-7.9.x on AIX, Solaris, or HPUX)

The version of Decam should be listed in Decam.log at startup.If Decam is running, its version can be found by executing the following:

ps -ef|grep -i decam

  • Decam (7.7.2-7.9.x on Windows)

The version of Decam should be listed in Decam.log at startup. The version of the Decam can also be found by looking at the file directly.

  1. Find the directory in File Explorer where decam is installed (typically C:\Program Files\JDA\EKBF\Decam)

  2. Add the column "File Version" if not already enabled.

  3. Read the file version of DecamService.exe

  4. JDA Support can determine your patch version from the file version

Additional Information


Customers on versions prior to 7.7.2 are strongly encouraged to upgrade to the latest version of the Enterprise Planning Suite in order to receive critical patches.
