How to create a new product in Space Planning

1. For Space Planning version 2016.1 and below: Select Edit > Create > Product
     For Space Planning version 2017.1 and above: Go to the menu Build > Products > Create
2. Enter all the required information. Unique Identifier (UPC or ID) must be entered
3. The product is added to project and can be seen in Planogram Explorer Window

Product Properties Window can also be accessed by:
 

• Clicking on the trolley with star icon on the menu bar (Space Planning version 2016.1 and below).
• Selecting the 'A' key on your keyboard. (All versions)
• Double click over the Product in the Planogram Explorer.  (All versions)
• Navigating to the menu Build > Edit > Properties > Product Properties. (Space Planning version 2017.1 and above).

If the Planogram Explorer window is not visible select View > Planogram Explorer from the main menu.

If Settings > Manipulation > 'Allow floating position' option is selected, the new product is placed on the bottom right hand side of the active Planogram.

If a fixture is selected before a new product is created, the product is immediately placed upon a fixture depending upon Merchandise settings for the fixture and product.
