Cause
Users cannot login to the Advanced Replenishment database via the Client GUI if the E3COMSERV job is not running
Additional Information
If E3COMSERV ends with an error in the job log stating "E3SIGNON already exists in the library list": 
  • Review the QUSRLIBL or JOBD attached to the E3SRV user profile for the E3SIGNON library.
  • Issue the command DSPSYSVAL QUSRLIBL.
  • If E3SIGNON is part of the list, it should be removed.

If E3COMSERV ends with an error in the job log stating "Address already in use", this indicates that Port 7100 is being used by another process. It must be a dedicated port for the E3COMSERV job only.
