Log on to the Dispatcher application server (using "PuTTY" or similar).
- To stop a daemon (where <daemon name> is the name of the daemon, for example "allocdae" ):
- telsia stop <daemon name>
- To start a daemon (where <daemon name> is the name of the daemon, for example "allocdae"):
- telsia start <daemon name>
Note : DO NOT execute "telsia stop" without a parameter on versions before v2009.2.2 as it is interpreted as "shut down the application". In v2009.2.2 the "telsia" command was changed to require "telsia stop dcs" to stop the application.
Web client users with Dispatcher v2008.1.2 and later can use the "Daemon Process" screen to stop and start daemons.
