  1. Select Tools on the VisualVM application
  2. Click on Plugins from the dropdown list to open a new window
  3. Click on Available Plugins tab
  4. Find VisualVM-MBeans from the list
  5. Tick the check box in front of VisualVM-MBeans
  6. Click Install
  7. Step through the on-screen instructions
