Import image
1. Copy the image from anywhere, save it to the clipboard
2. Double click on the position whose image want to apply
3. Click on 'Edit Bitmap Image' button
4. Paste the copied image (Ctrl +V) from clipboard, OR Import the image using below steps:

  • Go to 'File' menu

  • Click on 'Import' option

  • Browse for the image file and click on 'Open' button -  If images are already present for position then it will ask to replace the existing images. (Select 'Yes' if want to replace the image else select 'No' option)

  • Choose the format for new images, select as required and click on 'OK' button.

5. Select the Face (eg. Front / Top) and Merchandising Style (eg. Unit / Tray)
6. Click on 'OK' button

Save newly applied Image to the planogram
1. Go to 'File' menu and select 'Save As' option. 

Note: For Space Planning 2017.1 and above, 'Save As' icon can be found upon clicking File button User-added image on upper left > Save > Save As

2. Select the desired configuration and verify the folder to being saved
3. Click on 'OK' button

  • You may be prompted to convert the file to an alternate file format; if the image contains transparency, the most applicable file format is PNG 32 bit

  • Bitmap images that are large in size consume more resources and may slow down operations in Space Planning. It may be necessary to scale down the zsize of large images using Modify > Resize...
