Resolution
  • When running from DataStage Director GUI:
Run Datastage Director jobs with same user name as of the user name logged into MS-Windows.
 
  • When running from a command line:
Match the user credentials submitted on the DSJOB command.

Cause
Additional Information
This error can also occur if "Configure the JDA Integrator Solution Project install user" step has not been done during installation of InfoSphere DataStage Server and Client installation. (Using Internal Registry method)

1. Sign on to InfoSphere DataStage box.
2. Double-click the Web Console for IBM InfoSphere Information Server icon on your desktop.
3. Enter the Information Server administrator User name and Password. Click Login.
The default value for both is isadmin.
4. On the Welcome screen, click the Administration tab.
5. Click Domain Management.
6. Click Engine Credentials.
7. Click the radio button to select your server, then click Open My Credentials.
8. Enter the local operating system Administrator user and password with confirmation. Click Save.

Note: User names and passwords can contain any letters or digits and the following special
characters.
• _ (Underscore)
• – (Hyphen)
• \ (Backslash)
• = (Equal sign)
• . (Period)
