Summary	The auto stock plan will remove a non-tracked item from the list , however same items are considered while Auto order calculation.

Resolution

Tracking Flag for an Item is not designed to handle Auto order calculation.
The current functionality supports an Item to appear in inventory related transactions like count inventory, Adjust inventory, Item depletion configuration, automated Order Stock Plan Setup etc. If flag is checked then Item appears in all these transactions.
Auto order calculation does not consider tracking status of Item. Automated order stock plan and Forecast metric filter should be used to include item in AO calculations.

1. Non-tracked items are not available on the auto order stock plan. Inherently the non-tracked items should not be included in auto order.
2. For an Inventory Item to appear in the BU level Automated Order Stock Plan, it must have a “Default Min Qty,” and must be “Assigned,” “Active,” “Tracked,” and “Linked.”
Or it must be a “Local Item” that is “Active,” “Tracked,” and “Linked.”
3. An Item is not visible in Automated stock plan because it is not tracked .

However ,supplier item record exists in stock plan table - Inventory_Stock_Plan_List as it is not marked to remove data in stock plan import
4. Once the item is set to non-tracked, min/max quantities should be removed or non-tracked items should be excluded from any auto order calculation.
