Resolution
Batch controlled inventory in pickface location not being allocated against an order is standard functionality of Dispatcher WMS application. Any of the below workarounds can be followed to have batch controlled inventory allocated
  • Inventory of SKU with batch id populated in order line setup to be reserve locations
  • Allocating batch controlled inventory from pickface location by enabling "Batch Mixing" flag  and not populating Batch ID field in order line screen

Cause
Pickface locations does not support batch and expiry controlled stock keeping unit's(SKU's), hence inventory from pickface location is not allocated when batch id is populated in order line

Not advised to use pickfaces for batch and expiry controlled SKU's
